Welcome to the Pumphouse
At this time, and until further notice, COVID protocols are in effect. When you attend a session at the Pumphouse, you will need a proof of the second vaccination and photo ID. Your information will be recorded for contract tracing, and you must wear a mask. We are restricted to 25 participants per session. We will supply hand sanitizer and wipes, and extra masks are available. Bring your own drink or snack.
Started in 2001, the Lakeside Pumphouse Artists' Association has grown to over 90 members. The group meets most Wednesday afternoons at the Elizabeth St. Pumphouse, located in Forty Mile Creek Park, on the shore of Lake Ontario, in Grimsby.
Our goals are to bring together people with a common interest in art, and to provide opportunities for sharing skills and techniques. The group enables artists in different media to share their specialized skills, and enhances that experience by organizing workshops, and by holding exhibitions to display our work. We encourage art appreciation and strive to develop leadership in visual arts.
The Lakeside Pumphouse Artists' Association is an organization dedicated to furthering artistic understanding and encouraging artistic growth of its members and the community at large by promoting interest, education, knowledge and skills in the arts.
