Joyce Richardson

Since my retirement I have developed a passion for watercolour painting. I love the discovery, the experimenting, the transparency and spontaneity of watercolour. Most of my inspirations come from my experience; the tranquility of a seaside scene, the changing light of a building or flower, the view out a window, the painting process itself and my desire to express my emotions with brush on paper. Each painting is my individual vision of nature. My subject of children's art, fruit, flowers and landscape are painted with realistic or abstract structure. It is my wish that my artistic inspirations bring much happiness and pleasure. My paintings are in private collections in Ontario.
