Dennis Chilton

As long as he can remember, drawing and painting have always been part of his life. Born in London, England, Dennis moved to Canada in 1959. In England he attended St. Martins School of Art, where he studied life drawing. A course at the Regent Street Polytechnic taught him illustration, which influenced his liking of pictures that tell a story, especially in a landscape. Dennis prefers watercolour, but occasionally he includes permanent or water soluble inks with more detailed subjects. His work has sold locally, and other countries such as the USA and UK. It has been used as product illustrations and twice included in the Bruce Trail Association calendar.
